Imzadi was formed in the spring of 1998 from two prominent bands,

 Steve McCabe (vocals) and Monty Greb (guitar), from Cooter Brown, team up with Bill Foster (bass),

Kevin Sac (guitar) and Jim Bouakadakis (drums) from Papa Wheelie,

the band has been through some changes to evolve to its current state.

Kevin Sac becomes the first member to leave the band, to start a family and a business (both are doing well)

Kevin was replaced by Mark Mortensen, Mark had previously been a member of Sybil's Machine

Monty "The Monster"

Monty Greb left the band in May of 2001, Monty was ready for a break and decided that it was time to leave

and was replaced by Sean Tafoya, Sean was around only for a short time before moving on,

Rod Guinn joined the band around June of 2001, Rod came to us from the band Stompphonic and stayed until spring of 2002.

Danny James, after being an Imzadi follower since the beginning, joined the band in 2002, and left in May 2002.

for the first time, Imzadi now has a keyboard player, J.Taylor from The Twisters, makes him debut at Mayfest in 2002

January 2003, Now its Jims turn to start a business and  family, the business is doing great and Hollie Bouakadakis was born on Dec 23 2003

After an extensive round of auditions, Caleb Johnson joins the band and debuts in April of 2003.

Bill Foster leaves in January 2004, Bill has been in bands and performing constantly since 1981, and felt like the time was right to retire.
